PRESS RELEASE January 2008
2008 SEES START OF NEW CHILD AWARENESS CAMPAIGN
We are proud to announce that we will be helping the Foresters' Fund for Children with their major "A M8 4 Life" campaign, commencing in 2008.
The campaign takes the form of a number of handbooks to assist adults and children in dealing with a range of issues, including bullying and safety and advice on how to cope with illness or disability.
These booklets, in addition to being 'must haves' for concerned parents and children who need informed guidance, will also help to boost much needed donations for FFFC through their distribution to businesses, schools, colleges and homes throughout the country.
Jenna Cox, a Fund trustee said "A M8 4 Life is important, and we have been working on it for 2 years now to get it right and to make sure it offers real, contemporary value to parents and children. The fundraising aspect will encompass the biggest and most focused appeal we have ever organised, allowing us to massively increase the number of grants we give to the UK children's charities that depend on us. These are tough times and sometimes the grants we give mean the difference between continued service or closure for the charities we help. We are convinced that "A M8 4 Life" is going to be responsible for a great deal more support for children and young adults just when they need it the most."
"We would like to thank, not only Vardis for their help and support, but also the many businesses who will play an integral role in this campaign."
End release.
