What are the benefits to business of working with Vardis?

How does the Charity benefit?

The Foresters' Fund for Children will benefit in a number of ways should you choose to support the Charity through Vardis. First - Vardis will immediately donate 12% of your advertising costs to The Fund. Second - as part of our commitment to The Fund, we design, edit and publish the Charity's official publications, enabling another fundraising stream as The Fund can sell them, keeping 100% of the money raised. Finally - the publications that you sponsor will ensure that the Foresters' Fund for Children enlarges its public image. This is more important than you might think, as a higher profile helps to generate donations via other fundraising initiatives.

Does Vardis make a profit from working with charities?

At no time does Vardis claim to be anything other than a profit-making organisation. However, through publishing and marketing it’s publications, we are proud to have raised thousands of pounds for the Foresters’ Fund for Children over the past 7 years - much needed funding that the Charity would not have received from any other source. It is, perhaps, pertinent to mention, that Vardis also takes on all the associated risk so the Charity does not have any.

What regulations are there to govern charity publications?

The Charity Commission has published certain guidelines, and you can visit their website for more information. Also, as Vardis believes that the issue is so important, we are in the process of creating an industry body to clearly set out the standards that must be maintained for credibility and best practice within the charity publications sector. All signatories will have to adhere to the strictest and highest standards.
